Post subject: wlan problem: realtek rtl8188ce
Hi everybody!

It seems that the module for realtek rtl8188ce is not yet included in debian's "firmware-realtek". Is there a chance in near future?

Is a workaround possible in the meantime?

lspci | grep WiFi
08:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter (rev 01)

Thanks a lot!

rtl8192ce has been merged for kernel 2.6.38, so it'll take another 2-3 weeks.

YES! Kernel 3.6.38 does it! Module rtl8192ce is included.
Thanks again, slh!

PS: Nevertheless I have problems to activate wifi ("no values" in after ceni scan). But I'll start a new thread for this.
