Wow - just wow!
This has to be the most misguided review I've seen in a long while..
Nice find. |

The quality of the article get's only topped by this release's artwork. |

"Overview" is the wrong word -- it was a 35,000 foot flyover. |

ya, one that might have been written by a kid
As we know Ubuntu is the African word for "I can't install debian" |

If you go back far enough, we're all "distant cousins" to Ardi.
Howdy, kinfolk. |

On the positive side: trying a live-CD and/or installing a distro (in a VM) isn't called a 'review' anymore. All the text spent in this 'overview' on Ubuntu could have been better used to say more about what does make aptosid aptosid(*) but it's not so terrible for such a light-weight article.
(*) for example, read the paragraph which starts with
Quote:
Aptosid provides something that is comparable to Ubuntu and its variants but it takes a slightly different approach.

The first sentence in this "review/overview" already says everything about it's quality: "aptosid might sound like a package management tool, but it's actually a desktop-orientated (KDE4 or XFCE) Debian derived Linux distro"
WTF^2
ADD: Not every operating system that has a desktop is a relative of ubuntu (especially because ubuntu has gnome instead of KDE/XFCE installed). |

But maybe he has written it for ubuntu freaks who didn't know that other linux derivates than ubuntu are existing, too and now found something 3,0935% compareable to ubuntu (3% because of debian, the rest leaves space for not yet found similarities). |
