d-u lists bluez-alsa in 'packages to be removed' section
Should it be put on hold or should I let it go ?
The following packages will be REMOVED:
bluez-alsa g++-4.3 gcc-4.3 libstdc++6-4.3-dev |

If you don't use/need/want bluetooth-alsa you may let it go
I don't have it here, one of the first things I delete because I have no need for bluetooth
Code:
bluez-alsa:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 4.94-2
Version table:
4.94-2 0
500 http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ sid/main amd64 Packages

I don't use it but I'm thinking of getting a bluetooth dongle and use my bluetooth headset with Skype and Google Talk plugin . I can't find any compatibility issues, why would d-u want to remove the package ?
