have someone of you already tried telepathy? I would like to trike but I don't even know if it's in the repos. I can't find telepathy-kde Sad

nope these packages mentiond by hubi are the core of telepathy, the only client that uses telepathy is empathy till now. The gui for KDE is not in sid Sad I only found packages for ubuntu: https://code.launchpad.net/~telepathy-kde

Isn't it a bit much to ask for software called a "technical preview" by upstream to be included in the distro? I think "technical preview" can be translated with 'alpha release' because, according to the makers,

Well, according to this list, the maintainer for Debian is George Kiagiadakis and it's possible the software can be found here (search for telepathy or maintainers name). I suppose we're in the "User Scripts & Dragons" category now anyway and you can see here how to compile it from source yourself.
