Hi
aptosid rolling release going OK till last night's update but then no desktop, as xorg not working, in MS at present as I am dual booting.
yuk other reports I can see about this problem, guess those nvidia drivers also kaput, they are a liability in the aptosid rollercoaster.

Hi Re:- nvidia blob
remove or rename /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d
and the nvidia kernel for now
and aptosid reverts to presumably nouveau or legacy drivers for now.
apt-get remove nvidia-kernel-source nvidia-kernel-common
I have a feeling it may be aeons before they fix kaput nvidia-glx packages if ever.
Anyway it seems nvidia-vdpau-driver libgl1-nvidia-glx are now replacing nvidia-glx so I guess the handbook will need updating.
