Receiving should help. But I get lots and lots of SMS that I should not. Have complained to ISP, enabled DO-NOT-DISTURB. When I threaten my ISP (AIRTEL) they say that others are sending. They need the sms data to file compliants to handle the senders. The MSD mode never downloads in the format which I can use to send the sms to my ISP.
Never comfortable with loading or using the huge software that come with the phones- they are huge, useless for me and in my case I was not able to use- it did not work after once.

Is there anyway I can transfer the SMS data in phone SIM to PC in aptosid?
So that I can threaten the right (or perhaps wrong) people with strong legal actions demanding a few dollars for every SMS they have sent?

Thanks

Is it a usb wireless modem or a phone? Giving the make and exact model might help you find someone who has an idea for you. If it is a phone you should also mention what if any cables you have for it to hook up to the pc (and if the phone has bluetooth, infra-red or even wifi, mentioning which of those you have in your computer might also help).
