When I select the kernel-remover in my KDE menu, it asks for my authorization and I enter my password correctly. Then nothing happens. Any ideas as to how to fix this? Currently running on today's dist-upgrade.

Did you enter your root password? It's working fine on my machine.

Working here too...Although I had to look to find it in the KDE menu, I always used the terminal version of it.

The clown of usability, I found that out the hard way.

See if you can spot the problem:
      Code:
# kernel-remover -h
kernel-remover
-F parameter    use parameter as the graphical frontend
one of text | dialog | kdialog | zenity
-f              proceed without asking, do complete cleanup
     -h              show this usage

Well the terminal-based version works, which is good.
As for the graphical frontend, since I'm on KDE what should be my parameter here?

      Code:
# kernel-remover -F kdialog

Note the capital F and use sux to become root.

I usually use the 'text' vesion but to each his own. Just make sure you use F and not f.
