Post subject: [SOLVED] Non-free flash plugin failing to load

| After the d-u today (including the kernel update), the non-free flashplugin is crashing or not loading in Iceweasel and Chromium . . . but it runs in Opera . . . after which it runs in Iceweasel and Chromium till next time I open them up (sometimes just a few minutes earlier) when I have to run it in Opera first to get it to run in Iceweasel . . . . very strange . . . any ideas? |

| Du you use nvidia driver 290.03-1 from experimental? |

Yes!! I've just gone back to 285.05.09 and everything is fine |

I have experienced this issue as well and rolling back to 285.05.09 works for me. Seems Flash has bad interactions with the 290 series and I may send a bug report to nVidia per their procedure to determine where the fault lies (Adobe or nVidia)
if it is an Adobe issue most likely this will go into their bit bucket considering their history relating to Flash on Linux |

Yep I saw the same issue with 290.03 and flash.
But where are you guys getting ver. 285.05.09? All I can find to revert to is "280.13.really.275.28-1" in the debian sid repo.
