Hi, recently in an attempt to install fglrx driver have resulted in init 5 crashing and black screens once it boots. I do not know how to boot safe mode or boot only init 3. Im confident I can fix the rest on my own, but I just need to pervent init 5 from booting.
Thanks in advance.

In your Grub boot menu scroll to the line of the kernel you want to start in init 3,
type 'e' to edit the menu entry,
scroll to the line beginning with 'linux',
append '3' to it,
to start the boot process type <STRG><x>.
EDIT:
