i couldnt get module to build using broadcom-sta package from frickenplatz's repo.
removed his non-free sources, installed debian ones from sid/non-free and it worked right away.

the reason might be that sta does not stand for stable but for staging

nice observation...if broadcom is now embracing FOSS, then here's hoping there will be better broadcom wlan drivers soon
