.. although I need the machine desperately!

Hi, normally I get my scanner working with:

      Code:
rmmod dc395x
modprobe dc395x

when it is not switched on during boot-up.
It is an Agfa Snapscan 310 connected via a SCSI-Hostadapter.

lspci -nn tells

      Code:
05:02.0 SCSI storage controller [0100]: Tekram Technology Co.,Ltd. TRM-S1040 [1de1:0391] (rev 01)

      Code:
 lsmod | grep 395
dc395x                 27094  0
scsi_mod              125400  4 sr_mod,sd_mod,dc395x,libata

lsmod | grep unix provisdes nothing.

During boot-up I see:

      Code:

Loading please wait...
modprobe: module unix not found in modules.dep

Who can help? Other infos needed?

The SCSI-generic (sg) kernel modul is missing
      Code:
modprobe sg

Fine!

How to automatically get this module loaded during start-up?
