pause at boot [solved]

with every 3.1 amd64 slh kernel my laptop pauses during boot process for about two minutes and half at this point:
      Code:

[    1.428209] Switching to clocksource tsc

and after that the boot process continues without problems, starting with this message:
      Code:

[  151.379041] tpm_tis 00:0b: tpm_transmit: tpm_send: error -62

I've googled this error and I've found several topics in different distro support forums but I haven't found a solution yet. It seems to be related with the "trusted platform module": I've tried to enable or disable it in the bios but with no effects on the problem.

I've attached the dmesg output (where the previous messages are reported).
Could you help me?

I would recommend updating to the latest BIOS. Unfortunately, Acer does not provide change logs of what they fix.

Also, try booting with clocksource=jiffies

Thanks seasons for your replay.
Booting with "clocksource=jiffies" had no success:
while the log output was little changed (pausing this time on "[1.467794] Refined TSC clocksource calibration: 2493.750 MHz."), I still had to wait two minute and half to get to the next step ("[151.365856] tpm_tis 00:0b: tpm_transmit: tpm_send: error -62").
I'll try now to update the bios with Windows.

There's a problem: the only way to update the bios seems to need a 32-bit Windows OS, while I've only the 64-bit version.
By the way, I've discovered that the pause in the boot process is not present with the standard Debian Kernel.

Finally I've solved the issue: I've added the kernel cheat code "tpm_tis.interrupts=0" and now everything is working flawlessly.
