Post subject: [Solved] Removal of mozilla-plugins-vlc

Attempting to dist-upgrade right now will want to remove mozilla-plugins-vlc. This is due to the vlc upgrade, transitioning from libvlccore4 to libvlccore5. mozilla-plugins-vlc hard-depends on libvlccore4. It is recommended to wait on dist-upgrading for now until the dependencies list of mozilla-plugins-vlc gets updated if you want to keep mozilla-plugins-vlc. |

There is no mozilla-vlc-plugins in i386 sid anymore so its removal is more than a dependency issue |

It also appears to have been removed from amd64. It's probably safe to let go then. |

I have removed it before a couple of days.
Everything works except i don not have mozilla-vlc-plugin anymore. |
