Post subject: Gnome can't access Gmail?

| Installed Gnome Shell a few days ago, and after I got everything set up, I realized that I wasn't able to connect it to my Gmail. I typed in my account details into the online accounts utility and it never appeared in the list. Evolution had the same problem, but it claimed that I wasn't connected to the internet. Empathy tried to connect to my email, but then hanged on the connecting screen. Right now I'm using a makeshift pidgin setup (it works okay because of the Gnome integrator extension-but still not very well), how do I setup my gmail here? Any help would be appreciated. |
