Hello,
After DU on Aptosid 64, the version of the Gimp is gone in 2.8.
When I want to "save as" an image and then choose the type of file as the extension it does not offer me more jpeg, gif etc ... just xcf, gzip and bzip!
Do people on Sid and sidux have the same problem and how can they solve it?
Thanks |

We must "export" to save in jpeg or gif
"Save as" is just ti save in xcf |

"Export", yes.
But even with "export" the star in front of the file name
doesn't disappear meaning the file has not been saved.
But it has been. Seems to be an error. |

Gimp 2.8 is a new release so this kind of stuff is expected
Not sure I like the new "export" menu |
