Does someone know a good sound converter that also supports aac?
I've already tried SoundKonverter, but it hasn't worked for me. |

| You can use soundkonverter and select ffmpeg as plugin. Just checked, all OK. |

what about shntool? command line tool but really easy to use
Code:
shntool conv -o flac *.ape
-will convert from .ape to flac (u need to have the right codecs installed)
i know it supports aac |

Thanks for your tips! 
I will first try out ffmpeg pure and then shntool for comparision.

I've audacity installed - it doesn't support aac. 
@blackhole
I don't know why, but it doesn't work here - it stops in the middle of the progress and restarts, but slower. Then it aborts in the middle again and starts converting another file - same procedure. |

| I always used ffmpeg to convert single audio or video files (which is rather simple and convenient I think) - just wondering: Is it as handy to batch-convert a heap of files at once? If yes, how so? |
