| umts-panel2 seems to be a solution for a lot of modems for Mobile Internet, will we have that in aptosid? |

This has not been decided yet.
Once team members (incl. the upstream author) who are familiar UMTS/ 3g consider it to be ready and suggest it for inclusion, it will be reviewed and considered; neither has happened yet. If it works really well, it might also skip aptosid and might be proposed for Debian directly. |

Our plan is to get it directly into Debian, in order to avoid packaging and maintainership by our - compared with Debian, still - small team, and to make it available to everyone in the Debian world.
Meanwhile, feel free to install and use it, and make it better by forwarding bug reports to the aptosid-lxde team - thanks!

| what has become to umts-panel? I am here in spain and forgot my wvdial.conf (new laptop)... So I thought look out for alternatives... |
