Hi,
just tried to do an d-u but apt warned me, that gfxboot-themes-aptosid-2010-03-apate-core is an unsigned package.
just want to make sure, if that is allright.
i tried to get it from this server: ftp.spline.de/pun/aptosid/debian/ sid/main |

You could retry an "apt-get update" to refresh the meta data that maybe could not be loaded somehow on the last run?
Also: Can the gfxboot-stuff be used with grub2? AFAIU this is for grub-legacy only. So most users do not need to install these gfxboot* packages. Am I wrong? |

allright, apt-get clean && apt-get update did the trick.
seems like the metadata wasn't really fetched right.
didn't even know, that i had the gfxboot-themes installed and i dont know if you can use them with grub2. But i think only a background picture can be used for grub2 atm. |
