Hi there,

after upgrading to aptosid (everything else went smooth, by the way, thank you!) and booting the latest aptosid kernel, my mouse cursor has disappeared. I can still move the mouse and click things, I just don't see where the cursor is. The problem disappears if I use the vesa driver. I have an 855GM video chipset and I usually use the intel driver. Also, the problem is not there with the last sidux kernel.

Any ideas appreciated! Thanks.

Yes, I did. The mouse cursor is also not even there at the kdm screen, nor is it outside of KDE, e.g. in fluxbox.

interesting! I-du-ed today, but no question about migrating or modifying sources.list...just upgrade of 16 packs or so.

May be, I have to wait for the mirror sync!

Seems to be this bug:

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29413

Looks like I am gonna have to wait for the kernel 2.6.36.

Its not unlikely that it will be included in a 2.6.35 patch if it is really in drm-intel-fixes… I would recommend checking the slhs kernel changelog now and then…

Thanks, I will certainly do that. It's not in .slh.8-aptosid yet though.
