I use chromiun from frickelplatz repo and I can't play html5 content.
I have html5 active in http://www.youtube.com/html5
What might be the problem?

| There are some videos that are only viewable with flash..Many videos on youtube play using html5 with chromium at least cause of its h.264 support..I don't know if frickelplatz has "corrupted files?" of chromium.If chromium starts then you probably got "lucky" and met some flash videos. |

This is what I get with some videos:
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
On the other hand latest Opera plays html5 files without problem.

I have done some tests and i can confirm your problem.
I have built a new chromium-codecs-ffmpeg package and html5 in youtube is working.
Also some html5 games, i have testet, are working.
Sadly that frickelplatz is down, i can't upload the ffmpeg-packages. |

I have attached an archive with the 64bit debs as tar.
So extract it and replace the installed Version of the ffmpeg-codecs with dpkg. |

EDIT.
I found an old bug affecting me now.
In youtube it will not maximize correctly.
There is a long request for this bug(*)

In fact in maximized mode it displays KDE panels & chromium menu & Bookmark bar.
This is an html5 impementation bug since flash youtube videos maiximized correctly.
My resolution is 1920x1080
Opera maximize the video correctly. |
