There had previously been problems with Aqemu version in Sid, 7.3 and usb support but version 8.0 from their reps worked fine. I have recently done a clean install and version 8.1 is in Sid repros but now although usb ports can be chosen they don't seem to work with the error
      Code:
Error #1
usb_create: no bus specified, using "usb.0" for "usb-host"
. The previous problem was I believe was Aqemu trying to parse usb information in /proc/bus/usb when Debian had moved it from there, has it moved again, or any ideas for a solution

I don't know if this is any help but the error is
      Code:
AQEMU Warning [33] >>>
Sender: bool System_Info::Read_SysFS_File( const QString &path, QString &data )
Message: Cannot Open File "/sys/bus/usb/devices/5-2/manufacturer"!

AQEMU Error [34] >>>
Sender: bool System_Info::Scan_USB_Sys( QList<VM_USB> &list )
Message: Cannot read manufacturer from /sys/bus/usb/devices/

AQEMU Warning [35] >>>
Sender: bool System_Info::Read_SysFS_File( const QString &path, QString &data )
Message: Cannot Open File "/sys/bus/usb/devices/5-2/manufacturer"!

AQEMU Error [36] >>>
Sender: bool System_Info::Scan_USB_Sys( QList<VM_USB> &list )
Message: Cannot read manufacturer from /sys/bus/usb/devices/

but looking in /sys/bus/usb/devices/usb1/manufacture shows
      Code:
Linux 2.6.37-0.slh.2-aptosid-686 ehci_hcd

which appears with all the others on the ports tab of aqemu. Is this an aqemu bug or should the manufacturer information be diferent. the other error says no bus specified.
