I'd rather like to know what are the benefits and/or the drawbacks of choosing a 64 bit system if you have 1 or 2 GiB of RAM.
are more up-to-date programs available for 64bit?
it seems like the people working on the bleeding edge are more likely to be using 64bit. do the latest versions of programs come out in 64bit first?
one example (perhaps a poor one) is alternatives to flash. isn't that easier if one is running a 64bit machine?
i've never been able to get gnash to do a DAMN thing for me (might be operator error, not my 32bit os).
