Hey all!

A while ago Slashdot had a article about a patch that could be run that makes the system quicker and more responsive.
I was wondering when this will be implemented in aptosid, and if anyone here ran this patch already, what is your experience??

The patch was in the 1st .37 aptosid kernel. But then, it was removed.
In 2.6.38 this patch is added upstream and works here™ without any problem.

Weird that it was removed though, I dont get it...
Anyway, I hope that it will be as good as they say.

It was removed as it slowed down various systems including mine by doing the exact opposite of what was promised.

Anyway: Doesn't expect big magic… A real wonder will only happen if you insert new hardware into your computer, not by a simple patch in software…
