      Code:
Failed (Could not start usr/sbin/acpi_fakekeyd).

When i try as root:
      Code:

i see
      Code:

Try (as root)

      Code:
touch /root/.Xauthority

the acpi_fakekeyd not starting there's a bug report out and a fixed package is in incoming:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=612628

Edit:

Why using startx?

Sorry for my previous posts but I had very little time and the system did not work for me and in a friend who also did D-U.
I tried startx as root just to see if the graphics driver's fault.

I read a forum and installed xserver-xorg (and nvidia-glx from frickelplatz repo on computers with nvidia card) and all is OK.

Thanks.

Enabling 3rd party repos is not needed for nvidia-glx, and also not recommended.
Greetings,
Chris

As most people with Nvidia cards are probably not aware, the new free and open source driver Nouveau is already enabled in Aptosid kernels, and does work well for most cards and use cases. So, it's time to finally get rid of the closed source malware, and potentially problematic 3rd party repositories. Here is how to do that:

In KDE System Settings turn all desktop effects off. Remove all 3rd party repositories from /etc/apt/sources.list.d/. Remove all traces of nvidia in: /etc/default/dmakms, /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ and /usr/src/.

      Code:
init 3
apt-get purge ^nvidia* ^libnividia* xserver-xorg-video-nv
apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-video-nouveau

Reboot. You are using the free open source Nouveau driver now. Please post any issues you might have with this HowTo.

Greetings,
Chris
