I installed the firmware-ralink that claims the driver RT3070 is included

The firmware shipped by firmware-ralink is too old, update it with http://www.ralinktech.com.tw/support.php?s=2 (Firmware RT28XX/RT30XX PCI/mPCI/PCIe/CardBus series (RT2760/RT2790/RT2860/RT2890/RT3060/RT3062/RT3562/RT2860/RT2760/RT2890/RT2790/RT3090), 03/31/2010, v26).

In which directory I have to put the bin?
I had tried to compile RT3090PCIe from ralinktech site but it could not compile correctly.

Don't compile anything! (doing so with the vendor driver would seriously mess up the system). The kernel ships the needed driver (rt2800pci) already, just the firmware shipped by firmware-ralink is too old (v11 versus v26) and while I'm trying to convince Debian to update it for over half a year by now, it hasn't happened yet.
