Hi!
I am running aptosid without problems on one of my pcs.
On the other I have had sidux and now also treid to upgrade to aptosid.
I changed the sources list to the same If have on my running system:

deb http://debian.tu-bs.de/project/aptosid/debian/ sid main fix.main
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ sid main non-free
deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ sid main non-free
deb **removed** sid main

# Unstable
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free

I cannot get my system upgraded, the old kernel does not get upgraded:

Linux version 2.6.33-3.slh.4-sidux-686 (Debian 2.6.33-41) (s.l-h@gmx.de) (gcc version 4.4.3 (Debian 4.4.3-9) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Apr 28 20:36:33 UTC 2010

What can I do to get a full upgrade to aptosid?
Rainer

A crossgrade is not possible anymore (it was announced from the beginning to be only possible until the end of 2010 and was technically possible until late january 2011), I'm afraid you will have to reinstall; keep in mind that also the packages in Debian won't support skipping squeeze, if you didn't upgrade since july 2010.

(and no, it's not only the kernel, but much more)

ok - thanks. I have no more CD ROM in that PC but a 10.4 ubuntu on the other partition. Is there an easy way to install from an aptosid iso sitting on that partition?

I would suggest using an USB stick for the installation. Adding "fromiso" stanzas to grub2 would also be possible, but is not as easy/ reliable for installing (e.g. you can't partition a drive, while it is mounted).
