[Solved]2.6.32-5 kernel after dist-upgrade

Hello,
after dist-upgrade i got a 2.6.32-5-amd64 kernel from debian repositories. I also got the 2.6.35-4.slh.9-aptosid-amd64 kernel. Is this normal? is it ok to remove the debian kernel?

sidux/aptosid has never / will never install debian kernels automagically.
not because they are bad but because we have our own.
so, i have no idea where how you got that, but you should.
any debian repo in your sources.list? 2.6.32 is quite old.
and yes, you can and should safely remove it.

hello devil, thanks for your reply. I ve had another kernel other than the sidux/aptosid kernel before. I got this kernel on the first d-u after aptosid arrived. my debian.list:

      Code:
# unstable
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free
# deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free

ther is also an aptosid.list (and towo's repo)

and also
      Code:
~$ apt-cache policy linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64
linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64:
  Installed: 2.6.32-21
  Candidate: 2.6.32-22
  Version table:
     2.6.32-22 0
        500 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ unstable/main amd64 Packages

if you have Debian's linux-image-2.6-amd64 or linux-image-amd64 package
installed, then it will install the Debian's new kernel when they are
uploaded to sid. Removing them, Debian's next new kernel will not be
installed automatically.
