I have just dist-upgraded, now I have a message like this:
"too many loops! (loop=100001, dep->name=keyboard-setup, src->name=stop-bootlogd-single)"

FWIW, I just did a dist-upgrade and didn't have this problem... |

What happens after the loop error? Does the system boot up anyway or does the boot process hang?
Which kernel are you using? 32bit oder 64bit? I have dist-upgraded on 32bit without any problems.
Maybe you need to "dpkg-reconfigure --config" the package "keyboard-configuration"? |

The error is after the message about boot up with makefile-style when the kernel is populating dev.
The system boot without problems.
It is the last 64 bit kernel.
I will try to dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-setup. |
