The only thing is, that I do not know if virtualbox-ose-guest-x11 is required. If you do not use virtualbox, it certainly is not required. But if you are using virtualbox, I do not know.

If aptosid is installed on virtual machine, as guest OS, this package is used.
If not, for using virtualbox as host on aptosid, you don't need guest package.

lab, try changing your sources, or try doing

      Code:
apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade

apt-get update is a key factor before doing dist-upgrade

you shouldn't be seeing mysql-client mysql-client-5.1 mysql-server mysql-server-5.1 getting removed, I'm not seeing this and I rely on mysql for mythtv. On 4 of my computers mysql & mythtv don't want to be removed anymore

Sure, that's always how I update, by the book. I'll try again tonight. My sources are debian.tu-bs.de and ftp.dk.debian.org/debian. Maybe the Danish mirror has fallen behind or something...

Just one note: On one of the last updates my /etc/cups/printers.conf got deleted (set to zero size). So if you are missing your printer configuration you either can set up the printers from scratch, or probably it works to rename the backup file "printers.conf.O" that was created besides the original file.

Resolved now, thanks.
