In the last time when I've been trying to mount an NTFS-formatted partition I get this error:

      Code:
Unprivileged user can not mount NTFS block devices using the external FUSE
library. Either mount the volume as root, or rebuild NTFS-3G with integrated
FUSE support and make it setuid root. Please see more information at
http://ntfs-3g.org/support.html#unprivileged

In addition grub-mkconfig doesn't detect my Vista (pretty ugly OS) partition anymore.

I have already tried to follow the instructions, but it doesn't help either. Other NTFS partitions are also unmountable.

I hope that anybody can help me. Please ask for more information if you need to (like dmesg,...).

why not rebuild ntfs-3g with integrated FUSE support and test it? I am sure there are instructions on how to do this

I have re-installed the whole system, because of many other problems I had with my aptosid (wrong/unchangable usernames/passcodes, and other problems), which has solved my problem somehow, but thanks for your reply though Smile
EDIT: I think it was an old/wrong/obsolete fstab entry in combination with other problems that caused the problem.
