hi, i'm not quite sure if my problem is due to the d-u i just performed or existed before cause i haven't used the system settings for long. but now the menu consists only of the few entries you can see in the screenshot attached. am i missing any packages, any ideas?
i use kde 4.6.4 64bit.
thanks in advance

Maybe there are just missing some packages installed?
You can check which packages would be installed if you try to install "kde-full" or "kde-standard". You still can say "no" if you do not want them to install.
i checked as you mentioned and the version of "systemsettings" appeared to be an old one, after an update everything is fine now. so i still don't know why it was an old version after the d-u but the problem is fixed for me...
thanks arwa for your advice!
