Can someone tell me how to change to kernel 2.68 ? I know how to upgrade, but how to downgrade ?

yes, but can I make it so that it will load the older kernel always? or just have to choose it manualy? And keep in mind I installed from the latest Imera, so I dont think I have the 2.68 kernel in list. Right?

It's possible yes, but it's not a good solution.
You can't stay at 2.6.whatever for ever, so better get 3.0 up and running now. If you have problems with 3.0 please describe them with as much details as you can give (exact version, last d-u, hardware, installed firmware, …) and someone might be able to help.
A few core packages have the tendency to require (implicitely, so apt-get can't enforce it) relatively up-to-date kernel versions (e.g. udev comes to mind) so with trying to stay behind with the kernel you will setup your system for trouble. |
