[solved] thunar/ no way to install thumbnailers(2011-02Xfce)

hi

just noticed that thunar do not display any thumbnails
on latest xfce 2011-02 aptosid, installed on hd.

i do apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade twice a week since install (about 2 wks ago) and apt refuses to install thunar-thumbnailers, anything to do ?

Also how about, for those who use xfce4, gathering our experiences in a thread ? not so much to read since xfce4 is'nt the most used desktop ... ?

You can't install thunar-thumbnailers because its not in debian anymore.

apt-get install tumbler

then you will have thumbnails in thunar.

Another way: install (if you haven't) xfce4-goodies. It works well for me.

hi

i was trying that with no sucess (but maybe did'nt dig in too much...)

after what i installed tumbler (apt-get install tumbler) and now i have very nice thumbnails in the thunar luna park !!!

marked solved and i will start a topic on the shared experience of xfce4 tomorow it's now time for me to go to bed
