hi,
i noticed there is not
      Code:
mit-scheme
package in current aptosid repository,
but still had
      Code:
mit-scheme-doc
,

i think we missing it, could get it back?

The package exists for i386 architecture only, you most likely use amd64. Detail in this bug report.

There are many more scheme implementations/slangs. My university (TU Darmstadt, Germany) e.g. teaches freshmen with Racket how to be the master of parentheses^Wprogramming. Wink
(Not to far ago, then i was a freshman, it was called PLT Scheme)

Best of all, it's packaged, has a bundled IDE with DrRacket and is available for many archs (= at least for everything a usual desktop contains)
