I have the same issue with many more errors. I have tried to reconfigure everthing to no avail.

This is #650995 and #651000, fixed packages have been uploaded to our repo (just dist-upgrade again - if you are affected, don't reboot before you got fixed packages; console-common >>0.7.86).

PS: I've removed the [amd64] marker from the topic, as this affects all architectures.

I have the same error message but the package on top isn't console-common but keyboard-configuration
Here is my pretty similar output

Just get the updated versions from our repo - and DON'T reboot before you have done that! (You might be unable to successfully boot otherwise…) You do that by doing a dist-upgrade as usual/as discribed in the manual; nothing else, so it should be pretty easy.

Which package fails first is irrelevant to the bug - it will be any package which happens to include a init-script given that one of the changed init-scripts form a loop with the others.

Thanks a lot, u were right, installing the console-common from aptosid repos fixed the problem
