I´ve been running Sidux/aptosid for about 3 years on my HP Elitebook 2730p quite well. Since the first 3.1-kernel the display started flickering while booting right after switching from the lores- to the highres-screen - so I kept the 3.0-7, which was o.k. I assumed it be my fault, for I occasionally dist-upgraded while not being in single-user-mode. Yesterday evening I decided to install the os new from the actual KDEfull-version (for I noticed as well an decreasing compatibility with my hardware (RFkill-switch not honored anymore, no response to the volume-slider). Today (around 19:00 GMT) I had an longer dist-upgrade run (~500 MB; repos main, contrib, non-free).

The screen is still flickering very ugly (the problem with RFkill also remained [firmware-iwlwifi installed]) ... Trying to circumvent the issues by installing kernelversion 3.0-7 failed, for it´s not anymore available in the repos.

      Code:

gast@Elitebook:~$ infobash -v3
