I just came across this thread in the KDE forum:
http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=9& ... 09#p172009
It's just about the list of available OS to choose from in the user profiles.
Please can someone competent answer the question if an entry for sidux should exist in addition to aptosid?
Does sidux still exist? People who have not dist-upgraded since the change and people who use older Live-CDs - do they still use sidux - or aptosid per se? |

The project is renamed.
It means IMHO existing installations of sidux system, which are not yet updated,
belongs to aptosid project. |

the above link has nothing to do with the distribution anymore.
the charitable organisation sidux e.V. lives on doing other things in FOSS land that have nothing to do with us.

Not exactly true
Re Mamarok on http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=9& ... 09#p172009
If someone wonders: We had a booth at the froscamp titled "sidux". The distribution was renamed a week before the camp, if I remember right. I thought of renaming the booth, but we came to the conclusion that this wouldn't work very good (without available livecds 'n stuff). Some ppl asked about sidux/aptosid, but most seemed to know about the situation
