Wonders how old his install is if he doesn't have /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf

That file was created a few months back when isc-dhcp-client was installed.

$ apt-cache policy isc-dhcp-client
isc-dhcp-client:
Installed: 4.1.1-P1-9
Candidate: 4.1.1-P1-9
Version table:
*** 4.1.1-P1-9 0
500 http://mirrors.kernel.org/debian/ sid/main i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Actually, I did a completely new install of aptosid-2010-02-keres-xfce-i386. Afterwards, unfortunately, I saw the warning on the aptosid main page that "A bug has been found in the installer, which accidentally removes /etc/apt/sources.list.d/aptosid.list if adding non-free Firmwares gets selected."

My install did not have the /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf file. Is it possible that the missing file is related to the aptosid.list problem?
