I'm still getting iceweasel 10.x upgrades from the official repos although version 14 of firefox is already out.
Should I wait or is there another repo for the package? |

Iceweasel 14 is available in debian's experimental repository if someone wants to try it out. |

Iceweasel in Debian unstable will stick to the "Extended Support Release (ESR)" branch until wheezy gets released (probably 6-9 months), this branch has full security support but won't gain new features.
Fetching newer iceweasel packages from places other than Debian sid/main[1] is most likely possible, but not a recommended -or even actively supported- option for aptosid[2]. Further discussion about actually installing or using these would belong deep into the dragon's den.
[1] like the Debian maintainer's own pages; if you want to go that route, please use these and not stuff from random other places. Be very careful with your pinning, if your choice entails experimental.
[2] do as you please, but if it breaks, you get to keep the pieces. |
