Since I did a d-u a couple of weeks ago - and got a new kernel - I've had trouble with my NIC. It works fine after booting, but after a while (random period) it stops working and I see this in log:

      Quote:
24 23:07:21 siduxbox kernel: [ 7453.004187] via-rhine 0000:00:12.0: eth0: Transmit timed out, status 0003, PHY status 786d, resetting...
Jun 24 23:07:21 siduxbox kernel: [ 7453.004250] via-rhine 0000:00:12.0: eth0: Reset not complete yet. Trying harder.
Jun 24 23:07:25 siduxbox kernel: [ 7457.004170] via-rhine 0000:00:12.0: eth0: Transmit timed out, status 0003, PHY status 786d, resetting...
Jun 24 23:07:33 siduxbox kernel: [ 7465.004171] via-rhine 0000:00:12.0: eth0: Transmit timed out, status 0003, PHY status 786d, resetting...

After a reboot, the NIC works fine for while.

Any guess of what is going on...?

Try another upgrade then. Might just be that the issue is solved already.

Otherwise, we will need a few more details: Like which network card is it, which kernel version exactly and so on.
