Curiously kernel 3.10 gets not installed on my system. This happens for the first time. Until now a new kernel was allways upgraded automatically. Something new in debian?

Thanks

Wolfgang

A perl transition is on-going in Debian, "strange" things are supposed to happen at the moment.
(the kernel depends on perl stuff, like most of the rest of your system does)

I found the mistake. An aptosid-repository was missing. I do not know, why itwas gone.

Now it would be cool to know _what_ was missing.

Our push-mirror ftp.spline.de is currently frozen (for a while now). We are talking with the admins to resolve the problem.

APT should complain loudly in the 'apt-get update' step about it though (Valid-Until, Release expired, …). Change to a different mirror for the time being as there is no prediction on when this is fixed unfortunately.
