Und still ruht der See - das Forum stirbt, die Situation ändert sich nicht.

Das hatten wir schon mal.

For these who for some reasons want to keep on sysvinit-core: Now that https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=754984 is closed and dependency on systemd-shim restored - systemd can be un-holded again

another nice surprise:
after du a few minutes ago I lost some usb-devices like mouse and keyboard. back to prior kernel both are back again. could be related to latest slh-kernel.

Wandering why even with latest kernel *16*2 any keyboard of mouse stops working (even in vm), there is no warning or any advice, how to avoid but again a new kernel. But what for? Happy ones, never d-u.
cheers

The problem with the keyboard and the latest slh kernel is not unique but it depends on the general settings of the PC and probably the hardware involved. For example, I have a samsung laptop, 64bit lite KDE, affected by the kernel issue. I had to boot with older kernel to be able to use the keyboard. On the other hand a HP laptop, 64 bit full KDE, is not affected.
