Tiling: I like KDE 4's "Tile windows by dragging them to the side of the screen" feature, but that only tiles two windows side by side. Is there any way to tile them one below the other, or to tile more than two windows?

Cascading: Is there any way to do this except to type the command "qdbus org.kde.kwin /KWin org.kde.KWin.cascadeDesktop" or set a global shorcut to do that?

Thanks.

Systemsettings -> Window Behavior -> Window Behavior -> Tab "Advanced" -> Enable Tiling

I don't have a tiling option there in KDE 4.4.5-1. In that tab, under Window Tabbing, Placement, I have these options: Smart, Maximizing, Cascade, Random, Centered, Zero-Cornered (don't know what that is).

Could be, that tiling came with 4.5, i don't remember it anymore.

So you have two options:

* Upgrade to 4.5 (search the Forum for the HowTo)
* wait for 4.5 to hit the official Debain repos (well, it probably could be 4.6 until the freeze is over)

So, I wait until hell freezes over or I do the custom upgrade now? Very Happy Thanks for the pointer.
