Hi,
I know, glxgears is no benchmark program, but it quantifies a problem that otherwise only leads to stuttering video in **removed** etc.
When my system (Thinkpad T42p) is freshly booted up, then I get around 1200 fps in glxgears. As soon as I suspend to RAM and resume afterwards, then I only get around 600 fps.
Can I do anything except restarting X to get the same level of performance after coming back from standby? It is rather inconvenient to always exit and log in again.
The graphic driver is the standard radeon driver.
It also happens when suspending to disk, but that is so slow that I rarely use it. |
