I DID finally resolve this. [Just copied repos specs from another aptosid system,
and then updated/upgraded again, and it grabbed the missing updates.]
I just expected the 'rolling-release' to transition it from
sidux to aptosid, but there must have been restrictions on
that!?

You had already aptosid kernel before, that means, at one point your
(problematic) PC has been transitioned to aptosid repository.
Then, I guess, you did something, probably manually edited the repository,
and activated the sidux repo. |
