Post subject: fail to boot installation cd

hello
please help ,i downloaded aptosid 2010-02 keres kde lite -i386 but have been unable to boot it on my computer. The boot sequence stops at
setting up resolvconf ....done
setting up networking....
i have checked the md5 sum and it matches
my computer specification-
hp presario cq40, intel core duo,ram-4084mb, geforce G103M ,
i have attached one picture, hope it helps (sorry for the
poor quality).(i m just a linux beginner)

| Please select "No Quiet" ([F5]) in the graphical bootmenu, which might give some further hints for debugging. I'd also suggest to let it sit at that stage for about 5 minutes, to let eventual issue time out (this is not normal, but might give further hints about the actual issue). Eventually it could also help to plug in - or out - the ethernet cable, although this shouldn't be the real issue. Another attempt would be to supply the "nonetwork" cheatcode to the boot options of the graphical bootloader. |

thank you slh for your reply
as you suggested i tried to boot with No Quiet option but it did not work ,the boot sequence stopped at the very same place , i also tried with waiting for about 11min ,nothing happened just the cursor kept blinking and cd-rom went silent. i don`t what to do . i m downloading the full-dvd and the as well xfce version. i would like to try them and see what happens ..

'nonetwork'as bootcheat should work.
after booting, please post the output of 'lspci -nn' to find out about your networking devices.
output of 'infobash -v3' is also needed

hi
i want to inform you that the cheat "nonetwork" worked and i`ve succesfully installed aptosid in my system.infact it was mentioned in the manual(cheatcode section) which i should have read before.
