Hey Siduxianer,
i lost my sound after i made a dist-upgrade.
I see the sound mixer buton on right down side and i can change the voulme there, but i here nothing.
And normally i can change the volume through the hardware button on the keypad. But after the dist-upgrade i didn't see the green volume OSD anymore.
Can somebody help me please?
If U need further Information, please ask me.

Your Soundsystem is up and the card is initialized.
If you using KDE, which phonon-backend you have choosen?

dpkg -l | grep -i pulseaudio

sayes what?

apt-get purge pulseaudio

Reboot, try again.
