In Sidux I can't install closed source drivers for Nvidia Geforce 5500 using standard repo and using script from Manual. So I added repo:
      Code:
deb http://frickelplatz.de/debian/ sid main contrib non-free

And script worked.

How I can Install these drivers in Aptosid?

Thanks for any sugestions.

I thinked about part in Manual "Binary, closed source drivers for: nVidia with dmakms & xorg.conf.d".

Ok.Again.
In Sidux I used part in Manual "Binary, closed source drivers for: nVidia with dmakms & xorg.conf.d" and "Example for legacy 3d nvidia drivers using ≤ GeForce 5xxx " but it worked if I added repo:
      Code:
deb http://frickelplatz.de/debian/ sid main contrib non-free

For standard repository i had error during
      Code:
m-a a-i nvidia-kernel-legacy-173xx-source

And was good.
After upgrade Sidux to Aptosid and upgrade kernel I see during boots
      Code:
Preparing nvidia-kernel-legacy-173xx-source ... please wait...
Failed

And KDE don't start.

Sorry for My english.

Add the frickelplatz-repo and use the version from there.

As most people with Nvidia cards are probably not aware, the new free and open source driver Nouveau is already enabled in Aptosid kernels, and does work well for most cards and use cases. So, it's time to finally get rid of the closed source malware, and potentially problematic 3rd party repositories. Here is how to do that:

In KDE System Settings turn all desktop effects off. Remove all 3rd party repositories from /etc/apt/sources.list.d/. Remove all traces of nvidia in: /etc/default/dmakms, /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ and /usr/src/.

      Code:
init 3
apt-get purge ^nvidia* ^libnividia* xserver-xorg-video-nv
apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-video-nouveau

Reboot. You are using the free open source Nouveau driver now. Please post any issues you might have with this HowTo.

Greetings,
Chris
