Yes, I know, anyone can bake his own aptosid-cake, but I wonder if it is possible to create website baking script at aptosid.com to customize his own iso.

It is an example: there is a need to use skype on a stick, but without persist. Because of licence conditions and aptosid Open Source needs it is not possible to do this in official aptosid release, but it is possible for individual requests.

1. Maybe this way: adding unchanged .deb inside of iso with autostarting installation script that installs the package immediately after booting. That 'adding' as an option at website form before downloading iso.

2. There is another way: autostarting script added to iso that installs all debs stored in an extra directory on a stick.

Usefull...?

We offer persistency options, "scripts" or similar stuff won't be added.

Use pyfll if you want to "bake" your own aptosid customization.

Yes, thanks, it's all OK, but problem is when we want to use an CD-R disk to burn .iso. There is no way to simply add request package (eg skype) without complete rearrangement of iso content.

Another trouble: Even if we use USB stick to install iso with persist, continuous change of sid repositories means that a few days after iso image release, you need to do update and upgrade many packages to install an additional package.

The above reasons led me to made earlier suggestions.

So you use persistent, and install the needed package once, then live-boot to the system that already has it.

And, if the problem is fast changing sid, you can install the package from snapshot.debian.org repository, too...
