Hello *,

I'm relatively new to this list.

On my aptosid/32 bit I installed openshot without any problem.
When starting it, I get:

Error: OpenShot has not been installed in the Python path.

My python and openshot paths are the normal ones:

/usr/bin/python3.2
/usr/bin/python2.6
/usr/bin/openshot

I'm advised to do:
Use the following command to install OpenShot:
$ sudo python setup.py install
but there isn't any "setup.py" for any python

On my ubuntu-box openshot will do right from the installing moment. But I don't like ubuntu so much.

Please, what have I to do on aptosid?

Regards,
Leila

exactly the same error message as this bug report:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=613572

message #45 suggests the solution of installing python-httplib2, so
proabably doing:
# apt-get install python-httplib2
will solve the problem.
